The collapsing US military & economic empire is making Washington & NATO even more dangerous. US could not beat the Taliban but thinks it can take on China-Russia-Iran...a sign of psychopathology for sure. We must all do more to help stop this western corporate arrogance that puts the future generations lives in despair. @BruceKGagnon

Washington Continuously Lies to Start Wars

CIA director John Brennan and a national PBS 'journalist' go over the corporate oligarchy talking points before a friendly audience

This is from the interview about Iran that I did yesterday. You can hear my words at PressTV:

The US government is a “criminal” organization that is making false accusations against Iran.

The US administration is a “criminal” organization that is making false accusations against Iran’s nuclear power program to deceive the public and justify a military assault on Iran, an anti-war activist and journalist in Maine says.

“The US and Israel have a plan for ‘regime change’ in Iran, they use nuclear weapons [claims] to justify their actions toward the Iranian government and the Iranian people, said Bruce Gagnon, the coordinator of the Global Network Against Weapons & Nuclear Power in Space.

“We’ve seen Washington continuously lie to start wars,” Gagnon told Press TV on Monday. “The US is doing the same kind of trick to justify an attack on Iran.”

“The corporate, criminal syndicate that runs our government in Washington is repeatedly lying and deceiving the global public in order excuse its own aggressive behavior,” he added.

The United States, Israel, and some of their allies accuse Iran of pursuing military objectives in its civilian nuclear program.

On Sunday, CIA director John Brennan repeated the previous allegations that Iran intends to produce a nuclear weapon and warned Tehran of “tremendous costs and consequences” if it moves in that direction.

Iran rejects the allegation, arguing that as a committed signatory to the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and a member of the IAEA, it has the right to use nuclear technology for peaceful purposes.

Brennan’s provocative comments come as negotiators from Iran and the P5+1 –  the US, Britain, France, China, Russia and Germany – have reported progress ahead of a July 1 deadline for a comprehensive agreement over the Islamic Republic’s nuclear energy program.

The IAEA has conducted numerous inspections of Iran's nuclear facilities but has never found any evidence showing that Iran's civilian nuclear program has been diverted to nuclear weapons production.

Furthermore, the Al Jazeera television network released a secret Mossad cable last month which revealed that Israel has been aware that Iran’s nuclear program is peaceful and does not include “the activity necessary to produce weapons.”
